Book Club
They've been practicing on Xtra math, which is a free website any student can use at home or school.
Ms. Jones's first grade students are reading comics and writing their own today.
Ms. Jones's first grade class earned donuts this morning for meeting their Iready goal.

Mrs Prewitt’s 4th grade science class, students reviewed the states of matter, mixture, and solutions using dry ice.
Ms. Prewitt's 4th grade math class practices their multiplication facts with online practice or games every day.
Mrs. Prewitt and Mrs Foreman’s classes earned their $100 AV Bucks and enjoyed chips and a movie together.
4th graders are working on solving multi-step multiplication word problems using equations and strip diagrams.

This week we start a new Exploration activity in which we will be learning about food sources.
5th graders in Ms. Welty's class were having an "electrifying" lesson this week as they explored electrical circuits.

Ms. Somers' 2nd grade class voted for their favorite kind of Oreo. The winner was Mint Oreos!

Mrs Prewitt’s 4th grade science class had Electrical Circuit experts from 5th grade come teach all about open and closed circuits.
Ms. Welty's class celebrated our fastest fifth grader with a pizza and ice cream party.

After earning $100 AV Bucks. They voted to each get a FREE book from the vending machine as their class celebration.
AV Buck Celebration Mrs. Prewitt’s homeroom chose Pajama Day, Candy Cane Olympics, and Snacks and a Movie.
