Mrs. Emily Schmillen

Hi! My name is Emily Schmillen and I am the Alta Vista Community School Specialist through Transformation Waco! This is my 9th year working in Waco ISD schools providing wraparound services to students. I enjoy my role as a Community School Specialist because it allows me play a role in strengthening the connection between students, staff, families, and the community- whether it is through our Coordination of Care process, providing resources to families, or working with community partners to support our students and families. 

 

My husband, Kaleb, and I have 2 children; Tobias who is 4 and Adelynn who is 2 years old. We also have 4 dogs and 2 rabbits! I enjoy reading and baking in my spare time!
