Hi, I am Mrs. Welty! My husband &I have two children, who also attend Alta Vista. We also have two dogs which are like bonus children but I love them just the same. I lived in California for most of my childhood until I moved to Texas to attend Baylor & be near my mom's side of the family. Waco has been home ever since. We recently moved back from living in Oklahoma for the last 8 years, where I finished my degree in Elementary Education, & we could not be happier to be home. I love baseball, being outdoors with my family, baking, and winter is my all-time favorite season. This is my second year at Alta Vista. I absolutely love the community/family vibe they have established here & cannot wait to see what awesome memories this year brings with my students.
